Taylor Water Association utilizes the Code Red emergency notification system for announcements. Any boil water alerts, line outages, etc. will be published via this broadcast system. In order to receive these alerts, you will need to visit https://lafayettems.com/emergency-management/ and click on the "Sign up for Code Red" button to begin the free registration process.
When signing up, you will need to sign up for both Emergency Alerts and General Alerts. (If you are already signed up for Code Red, just make sure you are signed up for both Emergency and General alerts.) You can add your home phone and cell phone in your notification phone numbers as well as choose for a text to be sent to your cell phone. There is also an option to be notified via email as well. We've included a screenshot below for your reference. As always, we will still post these events on our Facebook page and our website, this just gives another notification option for everyone.
